King of the Mountain

What kid doesn't love playing "king of the mountain" on a gigantic pile of sand! Here Joshua and Moses are going at it with Joshua's height helping him gain the advantage. However, shortly after this, his laughter turned his muscles to jello and Moses took over as "king."

The birth of a child....

The birth of a child always changes the dynamics of a family but the arrival of our son Joshua into our home and hearts, 8 years ago, put a unique twist on our parenting adventure because he has an extra 21 chromosome! In celebration of his 8^th year we thought it would be fun to let you, who may have spent little or no time with a child that has Down syndrome, have a glimpse of his life. We are going to take a picture or video of him everyday, (mostly), for the next 365 days, accompanied by brief comments from family members, so that you can experience his zest for living. So drop in for a minute or two whenever you can and see for yourself the life in a year with Joshua.
